Saga

There's just something about Icelandic Sheepdogs and ice and snow.

I just heard from Saga's family.

Stacy writes: -
"Saga is moving much closer to her first family!! Sometime in June we will be moving to the Ann Arbor/Detroit area. Not sure where exactly yet. Brooks' job will be in Livonia.

Here are some pictures of her from the last month. She loves, loves the snow!"

Saga will be a year old in April and looks absolutely beautiful, don't you agree? The long haired Icelandics are very nice but I personally love the shorter haired versions just a tad more. The first photo reminds me so much of Totty, her mother.

Winter Aconite and Puppies

It's beginning to look like spring - new Icelandic Sheepdog puppies and flowers! Sure sign!

I realize that this just looks like mud and snow, but if you click on the photos, that will enlarge them a bit and you will be able to see the yellow flower buds of one of the earliest and smallest late winter flowers - winter aconite. They easily self seed and I have dozens and dozens of them now.

If you haven't check out the Mombaccus litter, do so now.

The pups are really cute now! I've said it before - these pups will not last long once people see them. This is an amazing litter.

Wodin

Here's a recent photo of Wodin (below) at the age of ten months; he's becoming even more handsome, isn't he?

Be sure you check out the Mombaccus litter; the pups have their eyes open now and are beginning to show their individual temperaments (personalities). The colors continue to amaze and puzzle me. Only time will tell what colors and patterns they will show eventually. These puppies are special. They will not last long.

Click on the International Breeders site (above on the right) and then scroll down to Mombaccus.
