The following photos are from the 1956 book, The Iceland Dog 874 - 1956 written by Sir Mark Watson and published in 1956 in Nicasio, California where Sir Watson lived and bred his dogs under the kennel name Wensum before going back to Great Britain. The print is a little faded and hard to read in spots. He used as many old sources as possible for his copies of articles and mentions of Iceland Dogs aka Icelandic Sheepdogs. I was surprised by how many of the dogs had shorter hair (fur). The last few photos are of Sir Watson's dogs.
