Lokasteinn Edda Rún

Here's a cool Tug-play sequence of photos included in an email from Charles of his Icelandic Sheepdog named Lokasteinn Edda Rún.  (Pronounced "Rune".)

"I thought you might enjoy this series of Edda, our Icelandic sheepdog, whom we got from Russ and Linda Hansen three years ago. She's a delightful family member who brings dozens of smiles to our faces every day. She lives with us here on a farm in northeastern Vermont. Not only does she love snowshoeing, but she adores playing. I asked Linda how long we could expect to have a playful companion dog, and she said, "Oh, 12 or 13 years!" That suits us fine."

Want to play?

Grab hold!

Don't worry about those claws digging into your shins!

I'll never let go!

Aren't they terrific photos and isn't Edda a beautiful dog! I hope we never lose the wonderful diversity of our beloved Icelandic Sheepdogs.
