These two boys were recently born and are ready for their new homes. Their breeder is working on new names for them. They are still available! Both of them have shorter coats which, in my opinion, makes grooming easy. The second one below is an uncommon pied or spotted Icy. The first one has a great black mask, maybe he should be called Zorro - does that date me, and should be about the color of a golden retriever when he's full grown. Icelandics are a medium sized dog and both boys should be about 18" at their shoulders.
She has been breeding Shellties and Icelandic Sheepdogs using the Hidow kennel name for many years and pays close attention to the temperaments (personalities) of her dogs and the health test results of potential parents. These boys come from championship lines and have the potential for becoming great breed standard dogs for the American Kennel Club conformation show ring. The dogs have fully registered AKC and FCI pedigrees. Of course they would also make excellent agility dogs as well as great performance dogs. Icies make great family house dogs; they are wonderful pets.
