No sooner said than done!

Leif. Lilly, Erik, Arne

Jennifer now has Leif home. Debbi and Mike have Erik and Ilona picked up pups for Christine. The house is huge, empty and quiet - quiet that is for Icelandics. The adults are still here. We are moping around a bit and missing their cuteness lots! This was a very beautiful and affectionate litter. If I ever have another litter I hope it's not another winter one!

I am hoping that puppy photos from their new homes will soon arrive so I can moon over them.

Home Alone

I have a vicious cold so I'm cocooning with the dogs and pups. We're all sleeping lots but I took a break from sleeping to take a few more photos of them.

The tan on their faces is staring to come in now. It's going to be fun seeing how much or little tan they each finally get.

NOT ALL OF THE PUPS ARE SOLD. Let me know if you are interested. I'm still looking for the right homes.

New Photos - Lilly

The pups are as dark in color as mom and dad.

You can see what I mean about Lilly's fur length. Her fur looks shorter which makes her look like she is smaller than dogs with longer, fluffier fur. Her ears are starting to come up which I have found is typical in the shorter haired Icelandics. The longer the fur, the longer it takes for the ears to rise - in my opinion.

Pila Nursing - Five Weeks Old Today

Although it's possibly still a little early, it looks to me like Erik, Leif and Arne will all have long fur (ss). Lilly will have short fur but carry long fur (Ss). Lilly looks much smaller but she's normal size for a female puppy of five weeks. She only looks smaller because she doesn't have the thick fur coats that the boys all have!
