Interesting thought

This was online in reference to WI Governor Walker, but I think it could apply to many situations. This was well put and apropos now in so many countries ...

Being a leader is not the same as being a dictator.

A few people don't understand the various types of leadership and simply look towards an authoritarian concept for leadership. It's frightening how many make the argument...that TELLING someone what to do and how to do it is the hallmark of a good leader.

A good leader is not a dictator; a good leader knows HOW to encourage, inspire and select appropriate people to help them attain their shared vision. A real leader has a vision and goes about making that vision reality, without having to resort to divisive or heavy handed tactics. A real leader recognizes both his/her own strengths and weaknesses and knows when to admit that he/she is wrong or when he/she is leading his/her flock astray.

Governor Walker is no leader...he's a charlatan, who seems to have realized HOW to manipulate and con others...not inspire and encourage. There is a huge difference.
