Drove 'down' to Port Huron for breakfast with Iris. Because I arrived early, I took a quick tour of the downtown  before meeting Iris at the Daybreak Café. I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice the city looked. I will definitely go back and spend some time there one day perhaps this spring.

 

Bear is in charge of the outdoors; he willingly would spend hours out there surveying his kingdom. He thrives in the cold even though he's ten years old now. The dogs have been enjoying the construction work; they love people and activity.

 

Iris and I had a nice breakfast and talked and talked and talked.
