MSU - Breakfast on the Farm - Part 1 Arrivals and Departures

Several weeks ago I signed up for one of the annual Michigan State Universities "Breakfast on the Farm" days. We've had a very long dry spell which was broken with torrential downpours the morning and afternoon of the event so I thought, wrongly, that not as many people would show up. Thousands did. Unfortunately we could not park out in the fields as planned because the water made parking impossible so we all parked in the parking lots of the Vassar public schools and were bused in to the event. People kept coming all morning long; as people left the breakfast tables to wander over the grounds, their seats were quickly taken by new arrivals
