Irene and Hursey live in Oakland, California and came back to attend the free Detroit Jazz Festival, Irene was one of my students years ago and they are both my dear friends now. Words fail, are inadequate. I love them. (Clicking on photos enlarges them.)

I hang mirrored suncatchers to discourage birds from flying 

into my windows and they do reduce accidents.

They are beautiful as they turn in the wind. 

When the light hits them just right, the reflections play on my walls.
